Capturing sample data from walls at the marina
Ponta Delgada, August 28
On August 28, the IS2E-LIACC team conducted a field visit to the marina to collect sample data from a designated section of the wall. During this outing, we successfully tested the updated drivers for both the camera and sonar systems. Thanks to favorable weather conditions and excellent visibility, the quality of the captured data was exceptional.

Ponta Delgada, July 21-25
Between July 21 and 25, the INESC TEC team visited ISE2–LIACC to assist in integrating a high-resolution 4K video camera and an imaging sonar into the BlueROV underwater vehicle. The visit concluded with successful trials on July 24 and 25 at the Ponta Delgada Marina, where the complete system — including custom software drivers developed by INESC TEC — was tested in real operating conditions.

During the week of 12 to 16 May, the INESC-TEC team visited ISE2-LIACC to monitor the assembly of BlueROV and conduct initial tests. The ROV was assembled and tested in the Swimming Pool at Clube Naval in Ponta Delgada.
